We live in a time of endless improvement. There is always one more thing to repair, in the body, the mind, the way you move through your days. TÉHUA was made for the opposite moment. The pause in between. The moment you set the work down and breathe.
These delicious herbal blends are made for company, not for cure. They will not fix you, and they are not trying to. They are here for the pause itself, the moment that asks nothing of you.
It holds you. The way a warm cup held in both hands holds you, when words would be too small, or too much.
Giving yourself a moment with a cup of tea is a small act of love.

Where the name came from?
TÉHUA arrived on its own. In a dream, or perhaps in that state in between, where the most unexpected things are born. It came, and it said it was staying.
So we went looking for its meaning. TÉHUA is a real word in Nahuatl, the language once spoken across the Aztec world. Its meaning is not fixed, and one reading of it is You.
It felt like a gift, and we made it the centre of everything. Because TÉHUA is all about You. It is about what happens between You and a plant, and between you and You, when you let yourself open to it. It is about being with yourself in a way that honours your own nature and rhythm.
TÉHUA is a growing project.
The Origin Blends are seven, each one meeting you in a different state of being, from earth to sky and back again through the heart. One plant, fireweed, runs through three of them, FOUND, GUIDE and ILLUME, a single thread that keeps you rooted even as you rise. There is no order to follow. Begin where you feel the pull.

Chosen with care
Every ingredient is chosen with intention. TÉHUA sources its herbs primarily from Canada, from clean and generous land, in harmony with the place that hosts it. These are joined by botanicals from trusted growers and communities around the world, plants that carry ancestral memory and a wider heritage, because each of us is a living echo of those who came before.
Every blend is caffeine-free, so you can reach for one at any hour of the day. And flavour is never an afterthought. These are made to be a pleasure to drink.
Our wish is simple
To carry a message:
Sit with yourself. Feel that, deep down, you are already whole, that there is a place in you that was never broken, and needs no fixing.
With each blend, with each cup, we want to make small occasions for you to meet that part of yourself, again and again. Gentle meetings. Moments of peace, and space to be with who you are. No pressure to improve, no project to finish. We are all a little tired of that.
